It's oh so warm here in Phoenix Arizona today at about 95 degrees Fahrenheit. And it's only Spring. I am currently waiting patiently for my Huskylock serger to be serviced and maintenanced. After a horrible crash to the floor, just late last week, I decided it would be best to take the baby in. Fortunately, it
does still work and with just a few minor issues that are
fixable. So what happened, you may ask? Well, like a dummy, I leave my sewing machines plugged into the wall and left upon the table that my dog, Meeca, likes to sleep under. Well, there was a knock at the door from UPS and Meeca runs to the door, barking, and dragging my serger along with her because Meeca's tail got caught up in the power cords and thread spools.
It was such a sad moment for me. After calming myself down I knew right away that I wanted to take it down to the shop. I am glad I did, but I will be even more happier once I get my baby back. My lesson learned? Yes, please, unplug my machines when I am done sewing.
